An electric Maserati will be launched by 2019!
Marchionne says that the new Maserati Alfieri is an electric vehicle of a new generation, which is going to save fuel and our environment.

The CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Sergio Marchionne is famous for his unfriendly attitude towards electric vehicles. For many times he showed his disapproval while speaking about the concept of Electric Fiats. However, he has changed his mind, when the same was discussed about a new Maserati concept.

Marchionne said that it's important to experiment. He also added that his company aims to work on an electric vehicle, which is going to be a Maserati Alfieri model. As we know, the best way to create a masterpiece is just to try and then experiment more and more. Besides this model, a hybrid model of Maserati Levante SUV might also be created.

The introductory price of the Maserati Alfieri is more than important. The thing is that the price of the newest electric vehicle should not be more than $100000. If the price is higher than it is recommended, it will probably be risky, as it is not close to what Tesla offers to its potential customers. Still, Marchionne is afraid that it's almost impossible to earn good money on electric vehicles. The vehicle is going to be introduced by 2019.
